Section 1. The Scriptures

We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God and is the final authority for Christian faith, doctrine, morality, and conduct.

      Section 2. God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

      Section 3. Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, substitutionary death upon the cross, bodily resurrection from the dead, ascension into heaven, present

ministry, and future return.

      Section 4. Salvation

We believe mankind is separated from God by sin and cannot earn salvation through good works, religion, morality, or human effort. Salvation is the gift of God made possible through the finished work of Jesus Christ upon the cross. We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Those who repent and place their faith in Jesus Christ receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

      Section 5. The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is active in the life of the believer, convicting of sin, leading into truth, empowering Christian living, producing spiritual fruit, and transforming believers into the image of Christ.

      Section 6. Christian Growth

We believe salvation begins a lifelong process of discipleship and spiritual growth. Believers are called to deny themselves, take up their cross, follow Christ, renew their minds, put away sinful practices, and increasingly reflect the character of Jesus Christ.

      Section 7. Marriage, Family, and Sexual Morality

Adullam Refuge believes that God created humanity male and female and that biological sex is part of God's created order. We believe biblical marriage is the covenantal union of one man and one woman. We believe sexual intimacy was designed by God for marriage and that Christians are called to sexual purity outside of marriage and faithfulness within marriage. We believe every person should be treated with dignity, compassion, patience, and respect as a person created in the image of God. At the same time, Adullam Refuge shall not be required to affirm beliefs, identities, conduct, relationships, dress, speech, or practices that the Ministry sincerely determines are inconsistent with its understanding of Scripture
